gateway motherboard in new case

gateway motherboard in new case


im getting a new case and i want to put my motherboard from my gateway comp in it. the back plates are different. can i take the back plate off my new case and take off my back plate of my gateway case and put it on the new case. how do i get the back plate of my gateway case off?

I don't think so, I know that my back plate won't come off. But if you have the skills to cut it out and put it in another case, go ahead.

I took the back plate out of a compaq before, just pushed it from the outside while the motherboard was out of the case, not sure exactly how they're installed in gateways though.
