I am using the delta38 with the 7volt mod (blowing down) and the idle temp is about 30-33 (before doing anything for hours) and folding at 46-48 , but after I quit folding and other tasks, the idle temp stay at 40-42...I won't go down to the idle temp I got before.. any idea?

my guess is that when you are idleing your cpu isnt putting out as much heat..but after folding for a few hours it gives of more heat thus making the inside of the case warmer so that the heat sink fan is then sucking in warmer air onto the cpu..just a guess not a fact..

but the case temp is always around 30C (before folding and after)

Do you have enough blowing action? (that sounds weird saying like that) what fans are you using to blow air out of your system?

not sure of the name, but it's a 80mm 2900rpm give about 29 cfm.
