Looks cool, but too expensive for me. Would rock for FPS games... :)

Curious - how much did MS influence this since LongHorn is supposed to be a 3d desktop environment?

Any one think MS was backing some of this research?
 
I remember this came out around a year ago in a notebook. The technology was considered pretty good, but nothing extraordinary, and the overall effect really depended on what you were viewing, with some eyestrain issues as well. Sharp may have improved the technology to the point where it is more viable however.
