I have a 5900 Ultra using 61.76 drivers. Im upgrading to a 6800 GT, do i have to reinstall the drivers again? Or can i just unplug the 5900U and install the 6800GT ?

What OS are you running? I think that XP should detect the new card, find the drivers already installed and have no problems. At the worst it might drop your resolution to 800X600 and make you go into video properties to readjust everything back to where you have it now.

Thats what happened when I changed from a Ti4600 to my FX5900.

it should work right? because they're both nvidia cards, and they use the same drivers. (using windows xp)

So no need to uninstall 61.76 drivers, just plug the 6800GT in?
