Best mobo for AMD mobile 2600?

Pls help!

I have personal experience with a few mobos and have found the Abit NF7-S to be a superior choice.

DFI's solutions are also very strong.

Isn't there a v2 of the same mobo? Do you know offhand what is the difference?

you'd find it pretty difficult to find anything less than a v2 of the nf7-s.... they don't make the others any more.

As House said, only NF7-S you're likely to find now days is a version 2. Don't confuse the NF7-S v2 with the NF7-S2. The latter is reported to not be as overclockable as the NF7-S v2. If you don't need features then the plain NF7 will be just as good.

The DFI Ultra Infinity or LanParty B are also good choices.
