Mounting fan on core?


Hey, I have a 86 Chevette heater core and I am going to be making a shroud out of cardboard (can't find the tupperware ) and I am wondering how do you people mount the shroud to the core? no bolt I could find at home depot would fit through the heater core.. well the ones that would were like an inch
