gentoo, Xorg -configure HELP!!

still trying to get gentoo working...

i've gotten the bootsplash and framebuffer working. hehe

i've emerged Xorg, but when i run Xorg -configure, i get alot of blalba is unresolved!

Fatal server error:
caught signal 11, Server aborting

and it tells me to check the log file at "/var/log/Xorg.0.log"

i've been reading at the gentoo forums, but havent found a solution yet...

anyone know what else i should try??

can you post what the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file looks like? I'm willing to bet you have an odd video driver loading.
 
i got it to work... if i remember right, i deleted the unresolved files....

now im working on getting the mouse to work

It has something to do with compiling with the -fstack-protector flag. I removed that, reemerged xorg, and got rid of the errors.

Sucks that your mouse doesn't work. What seems to be the problem with it?
