Hey, someone is trying to buy my gigabyte 9600xt for $100 shipped, do you think it's worth it to sell my current vid card and get a 9800pro isntead? It is worth to spend the extra $100 from 9600xt->9800pro? Give me advice please, thanks :)

big big difference going from 9600xt to a 9800pro...... if you're a gamer you'll see the difference.

Hmm.. that is what I thought..because I scored a 7500 on 3dmark2k3 and 3400 on 3dmark2k1..which is very disgracing compare to you guys' 9800pro..hmm I might get it :)

Thats rather low. You did set everything to performance mode in drivers, right?

Anyway, I say get the 9800, it makes a world of difference.

The 9800 Pro is practiclly the best bang/buck card you can get right now as well - the chances of getting a card with an XT PCB, an R360 core, and a built-in temperature sensor are really high, and the majority of cards will overclock to XT speeds quite easily.

With a small core and RAM overclock, a 9800 Pro can handle almost any game with full eye candy and effects at 1024 X 768.
