Well little problem here. When I click on the mail icon in my browser Outlook Express wont open. When I check 'internet options' and got to 'programs', its not listing Outlook Express. It also wont let me even type it in. I even tried clicking "make default" in OE's options page and nothing. Have XP Home SP1, well now SP2 as of tonight, but it started happening on SP1. When I open Outlook Express via the start-programs-outlook express it works fine. But would like to get the icon in my browser working again the way it should. It wont let me do anythign with the icon but 'read news'.

Ideas?

Only other idea I have is reinstalling XP which I really dont want to do yet.

Start | Run | Type..."C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /reg and click OK. Then make sure that OE is selected as the default mail program in both IE and OE. If that isn't enough, see this article...

You might also want to try this...

Thanks, worked like a charm.

BTW I've seen that User ID on a cycle message board. Yoou on cycleforums, speedzilla (insame Speed), esportbike or something close?

I used to post on a few cycle related boards, but haven't in quite awhile...probably at least a year or so ago.
