What happened to my ........

All of a sudden I have lost the desktop icon in my quick launch toolbar on win xp..........Cant find where it went, and cant seem to repair it. Anyone ever have this happen or know how to fix it?

It all worked except for automatically putting it in the Quick Launch Toolbar. I created a manual shortcut to it on the desktop and drug it down to the toolbar and all is well again. Wonder if it is becasue IE is not my default browser? Oh well, worked in the end. Thanks, my hat is off to you.

redduc900 is the man for all windows problems. I have found that certain programs that clean out unnecessary files, tend to remove quick launch shortcuts as well.
