FSBxMulti question

i was just wondering which one would be better to run my xeons on

222x15 = 3.33GHz
or
233*14 = 3.26GHz

a frind of mine tells me the more FSB i got is better so i'm assuming even though i have a lower clockspeed the second option would be better

am i right?

238X14 = 3.3 gig is better. If you are talking about same CPU clock speeds, then the higher FSB wins everytime. In your situation, I'm not sure. Is the RAM running at the same ratio and timings? That can make a difference. My advice is to run your system both ways and benchmark it both ways.

in both cases it's 1:1
and the latency is 2-2-2-5 even though on 233*14 the pc benches better on 2-2-2-6 than 2-2-2-5
