Question DVD + Windows Media?

Alright well I have the updated nforce drivers so I know it's not that... Whenever I try to play a dvd in windows media player it doesn't work. It doesn't detect that I have a DVD-Rom even though I do. When I had the trial version of PowerDVD 5 it worked perfectly with that, and WMP detected I had a DVD-Rom, but whenever I tried to play a DVD it would crash the program right away. Does anyone have any ideas of what to do? My Computer shows it as a DVD-Rom. BTW I'm on Dual Monitors if that will effect it or anything...

EDIT: oops! I think this doesn't belong in General Hardware, let's see if I can fix that....

How did that work out for you on your HARDWARE? I bought the dang thing and it is very glitchy on my HARDWARE!

I now use PowerDVD instead. It is nearly bullet-proof, and has never failed me on my HARDWARE.

(There that's better, )
