L5 AthlonXP Mod

At this point in time, does the L5 Mod for XP's to become MP's still work, or has that been fixed by AMD? Many thanks to whoever answers, for this will decide on my next computer purchase.

still works to my knowledge, but more info could be had in the SMP forum
