I Put A New 1.4 Ahyja And Now I Got Lag?

hi, i bought a new 1.4 today to replace my 1.2,and now my system is lagging,do they use more power,?
i know im on the edge with my psu,but as long as i dont use my secong HDD [in raid] then it was fine. now just a new cpu and its changed. just to add ,what voltage should i try to monitor to see if its dropped?
sisort is telling me that the +5v is 4.88v
but the 12v [i guess the psu] is 12.07v
can any1 let me know as id like to wait another week or so b4 i can buy a new psu.............thanks

Yes the 1.4 uses more power than a 1.2 at rated speeds.
The +5v is the one to check.
