Great Fan Deal

I visited the All Electronics store today (in person) and while I was looking around, I saw nice thick 120mm fans for $5. I just looked them up on the site, and they look like nice powerful fans: 120mmx38mm, 130 CFM @ 3500 RPM, 49 dba.

Wow 14.4 watts and 49db at 1 meter. What do those sound like? Sounds like a beast to me *chuckles* Seems like those could burn out a rheostat easily.

Fortunately they also sell all the pieces needed to make a variable voltage regulator that will handle up to 2.2 amps at 12V.
