Is it just me or is this very weird??

Hey all,

I was messing around with my psu connnections and ended up with a strange situation. Basically, without realising, i connect the power connector of my 9700pro card to one of my fans and nothing else. Yet, instead of my pc crashing, the fan turned on! Even stranger is the fact I could run msfs2004!

What gives? Does this mean the power connector is unecessary, and further more can actually power othwer devices????

I dont know about the unecessary part but I wouldent push it and plug stuff in there.
