Well I plan on getting this rather then the socket 478 version because I will be slightly futureproofed. However I can't find decent cooling for LGA775's so if I can't find some good cooling, Im gunna have to go with the socket 478.
 
I see you have an Abit AI7 which is a great OC mobo. All you need is a 3.0c and if you get a good OC one you can get 3.7-3.9 GHz of it and be performing better if not on par with prescotts and last you a while until dual core for example.

Of course if you will also need good ram such as OCZ 3700 rev.3 or EB or some Ballistix, ect. Also by sticking with 478 you can get water cooled easily and give time for new water blocks for the new cpu sockets to come out.
