Sound Blaster Live Problem

Hello, I purchased this card: Sound Blaster Live 5.1 Dobly Digital and Ive had it for about 3 months, my problem is I cant update my drivers and I lost the disk. Whenever I download the RIGHT drivers, it displays "Setup dosn't detect a Sound Blaster Audio Card on your system". It wont let me install drivers. Any ideas how I can get sound?

... Try unloading the drivers, and going through the Windows Device manager to see if you can update the drivers their, just point the driver detecter to the folder where your drivers are.

*crossers fingers*

I would check on DriverGuide.com (you have to register, but it's free. and do a search for original cd drivers from creative. You should be able to find them there. If you install them, then you should be able to update, because creative driver updates don't actually look for hardware, the look for original cd drivers as proof the card exists (don't ask me why)
