mobile 9600 pro or 9700 pro

I am looking to invest in a laptop and was wondering if there is a big performance difference between a 9600 pro 128MB and 9700 pro 128MB. I can either buy the laptop with 9600 or wait a couple of weeks for the 9700 and probably pay more money.

Do you want a gaming Laptop IF so the 9700 (if the mobile chips are the same as the desktop chips) will give you better performance because it will have 256Bit memory and more pipes.

The mobile 9700 is a 9600xt core, isnt it? I think with some overclocking it would be close, but thats not always smart in lappy.

The 9700 is much better. I have a sager 8890 with the 9600pro turbo and friends with the 9700 destroy me in gameplay. The 9700 is low k? with much higher clocks.
