i know that there are a many types of hard drive cooling available, however i'm just a poor student, and i live in NZ which means most specialised parts are unavailable and those that are cost twice as much (or more). this even extends to 40mm fans. the cheapest i could fin anywhere in NZ was $NZ26. i felt the underside of my hard drive the other day and it was pretty hot, so i knew i had to do something... hello spare fan! haven't had it running to long but it seems to be working. what do you think?

hey it looks pretty good, and the only thing that matters is if it is helping cool the drive.
do you have any way of checking the drive temp?
if not then you shoule get speed fan 4.11 i have it and it rocks. you can monitor all sorts of temps.
i would reccomend looking into it. although i think there is a new version out now.
