disable fan lights on OCZ 520 powerstream

I was looking at buying a ocz 520, and was wondering if you could disable the fan lights somehow without opening the case and voiding the warranty? Any Ideas? I want that power supply, but don't need the extra lights.

i gave the led wires a snip with a some nose hair clippers, i took off the grill to get to them
