was wondering about where do these cards cut off ... what overclock is about normal for these ... and what is the best utility to oc them using the latest drivers from nvidia ?

Depends on the card but ~ 320/700 would be reasonable to expect on stock cooling IMO
Best bet is rivatuner or the coolbits hack for the drivers

I got 310/620 when I volt modded my ti4200, but the cooling was pretty crappy.

Ti-4200, 324/635 with stock voltage and cooling.

around those speeds, surely, nothing beats ocing, running a 3dmark2001 session and watching for glitches. once you get glitches, real back a bit, and run some more. 5x in a row proves stability like none other.

got mine to 327/760 but there was no performance gain after about 315 on the core...
