Adapting Server Power Supplies

There are lots of huge, heavy (how's 3.4 kb sound) PSUs out there that are used in servers, dual zeon systems, and other odd applications.

They all seem to have the required voltages including sense and some even have an ATX connector. (usually there are other connectors such as a 2.5v connector for memory boards and maybe another 5 or 12 volt connector for other needs.

Is there any reason these awesome PSUs can't be used if you get the pin assignments right????

(if you ever saw the inside of one of these PSUs, you would look at a PC Power and Cooling ATX PSU and think it was junk. (gee, it was hard saying that....)

Anyone fool around with this?

PS. Don't forget there are redundant supplies out there too which are a trip!
