I have a 9800 pro 256 that I flashed to a XT. It has been working great for about 3 weeks. I just got in my water block for the card and install it, everything went great.
When I boot up the pc, right from the get go the screen is trashed with bars running up and down. Kind of looks like when you went to far on the overclocking.... I let it boot all the way up and checked the temp in the ati control menu and it said it was 52c..
I rebooted and same thing. I let it run for about 15 minutes and check the temp and it was around 54c. I know its not a heat issue from what I can tell.
So I took the water block back off and installed the factory HS. Rebooted and the same problem.
I have a pci video card, so I installed it and then reflashed the card to the stock backup bios. Rebooted and the same thing happens. The think that kills me is that it does it right from the start, even in the pc's boot screen.
I even tried it in my other pc and the same thing happens.
So I guess the question is did I kill it somehow? It's only about 1 month old too. Is there some how I could get this fixed? even from ati ? I hate to throw away the 250 buck that I spent on the card.....
Thanks
