whenever i try to use windows update i get this error message [Error number: 0x80072EE2]. can anyone help me?

do you have the background intelligetnt transfer service and automatic updates on? windows now requires those to be active in sp2.

i cant install the intelligent transfer service. it says that microsoft cannot validate my software!!!! what the hell!!!!
