I have finished my first pc build and am getting started with the overclocking. I keep watching the temps with motherboard monitor 5 . I am at a stable 2.6gh now but temps are getting as high as 53°. I realize everyones temps are different and want to know what the symptoms of a over heating cpu are. Does it run fine and then just die or does it give you a warning. Thanks

my mobo starts beeping going over 50 C^^

using a low vcore-like you do,55-60 C shouldnt make a big problem...

if you use 1,9 vcore+ i wouldnt recommend going 50 C+

thanks for the responce. I am pretty sure I can keep going with the oc but I am not really sure how hot is too hot.

that voltage (in ur sig) and 53c full load is a bit high, but is okay, if you want to go higher, I'd recommend getting a better cooler
