Ok this is in reply to both of your posts.

There is a wire trick for Celeron T's and P3-S's. Both are based on the tulatin core.

Cpu Z is way off your cpu would of melted through the mobo if you were running 3.0vcore through it.

With Tulatins its all about your stepping. Whats your Sspec on both of your chips?

With them its generally best to edge up the fsb and give em 1.65vcore and good cooling. All socket mount Socket A coolers will fit on a S370 Mobo and good Athlon Xp coolers will keep an overvolted overclocked Tulatin core P3/Celeron down right chilly.

i guess i should have stated this is on an oem compaq board so overclocking fsb is not an option.. just wondering if there is anything i could do simply to gain a boost from this chip ??

Hmm well there is a wire trick to force the fsb up to 133fsb. But you should do the wire trick for upping the volts to 1.65vcore. It should be listed here somewhere since it is a overclockers board on how to do do both the wire tricks.

Whats the Sspec on that chip? You might not want to try for a 12 x 133 Cele-T if its a early chip.
