Hey.
Just got a X800Pro (non-viv).

It got 19708 in 3dmark2001se, is this normal??

I think I could have got 20k with my 9800Pro..

Thanks for your help guys.

MY CRAP SCORE

Seriously?

What should I be getting in 3dmark2003... and maybe 2005?

I'll give it a 2003 bench then in a minute.
I have an MSI Neo and a 3000+ Newcastle coming too soon.

That should get me over 20k for sure!

For 3D Mark 2005, expect a major disappointment, even with a Radeon X800 Pro and GeForce 6800 x !!! Expect only around 5,000 3D marks.

9700 in 3dmark2003... :(

I was hoping for at least 10k.
sigh... Guess I'll have a go at hard modding it at the weekend, when I install my 64bit system.

I got a 35,000 in 3dmark03 with the rig in my signature. I'd expect more from a 2500 barton and x800

In 01 you are completly cpu limited, I could probably get 20k with my 9700. Take that benchmark with a grain of salt.

You must have the world record. I'm assuming that's a typo.

id like to seem some proof of that score, maybe you mean 2001, that would still be high for ur system tho?

I think he means 3Dmark01 and not 03. :)

3Dmark01 can be severely limited by CPU speed, front side bus and memory bandwidth. It's not really "just a video card" benchmark; it's a whole system benchmark. My 3Dmark01 score went from 16,300 with a softmodded 9500np to 16,400 with a 9800Pro to around 18000 with my flashed x800vivo. This was all with DDR400, 2.4ghz.

But 3Dmark03 scores were a different story. ~6000 on the overclocked softmodded 9500np, ~7000 on the overclocked 9800P, and ~11000 on the overclocked flashed X800Vivo.

even if this is a typo, i still don't buy it. 25k with that rig is NOT happening. MAYBE 20, not 25.

and quattro, you 03 score is pretty bad as well. i would expect no less than 10-11k. there is something wrong with your rig, probably an old install of windows? have you tried a fresh install?

I think he means 2500 on 3dmark05...

Anyways I got a 21900 on 3dmark01 with the system on my sig..that seems pretty low compare to some of the ppl are getting 24000+ with A64 and 9800pro...

haha. who cares what he means this isn't about him! ;)

at stock clock on my x800 pro, with a 3.4 extreme edition, I'm doing about 10,700 or so with my usual programs running. and you are getting 9,700? I'd say that seems about right, still a very good score. make sure all the sliders are down to "performance" and set agp aperture (sp?) to 128 and give it another whirl, i bet you can get over 10k.
