CPU Duct - do they work?

they help a little but if you have good temps inside you case you will be disapointed by the results, they are designed for people that have very hot cases. they will always help a little bit

In that image the "duct" has been cut very short, and serves only as a decorative grommet in front of the unmodified fan.orion456 said:

Available at Home Depot? Sure, but not in keeping with typical cases I think. It's basically a tube with a flange. Check out the ABS pipe fittings aisle, for a start.

Check out my site. That's how I done my ducting. I got a 10c drop with no extra fans. I say ducting is a must have for all OC'ers that don't like 45dB fans!.
