Quick question please

Quick question please


How do I stop the service and restart it the easiest way without losing what I have done till now. For when I am working on my main rig and consantly restarting and watching cpu loads for programs that I am trying out.

Watch the log, when it writes to the disk, stop the service. It will start right back up at that point when you restart it. Best way to do this is in the services menu. Select FAH, stop it, then set it to disable so it wont restart when you restart the machine.

When you are done, just go back in the services menu and restart it and make sure you put it on automatic.

If you have the icon down in your system tray you can right click on it and choose pause, that will pause any work until you decide to resume it. Im not sure if this is exactly what you need but hopefully it helps.

Assuming your using win XP
go to start>run
type services.msc
find F@H on the list select it and stop service

Don't forget to start it back up when your done testing.
