i just got a 9600se from a friend of mine cuz he got a 6800. anyways, i was wondering if a vga cooler would be a good investment for this card. i've gotten it stablely to 473/232 but i know it can go higher than that, the only problem is if i go too much higher that, the gpu will lockup and i'll have to restart. so if a vga cooler is a good option for getting a better OC, suggestions are open.

it's up to you if you want to spend ~20% of what the card is worth on a cooler for a bit more performance.

I personally don't think it will help too much. The 64bit memory interface is what is really killing the performance of that card.

yea, i figured that the memory would hold it back. i might consider upgrading to a 6800nu or something along those lines.
