Have you tried uninstalling the drivers and doing a fresh install?
I for one don't use CCC because it takes longer to load up when you want to change the settings and doesn't do much for me as it only shows a preview of the settings I choose.
Also after using it for a while, one day I'd just try to open it and it would say it could not recognize my ATi Drivers. I reinstalled everything and it'd work ok for a while and then the same thing would happen. So I just uninstalled it. Now I'm using Omegas.
