My modem/router cuts out

i have a linksys befsr41 4 port router,that ive had since 99.and a cable modem(forget who) since 99,and my connection just cuts out,on all 3 computers and its realy annoying since all i do is play games...any ideas what causes this?

PS i have to reset the router and MOST of the time that works

I have the same router and I had the same problem. I upgraded to the latest firmware and I haven't had any problems since.
