How distracting/obtrusive is the glass screen on the ViewSonic VP912B?

My CRT has a glass screen of course, but I feel like the glass on an LCD monitor wouldn't look as natural somehow. Any experiences by users in this forum?

seen that in stores
it looks fine as long as it has no smears on it
also protects from u pushing on the screen, like while pointing
