i have a hatachi gd-8000 dvd rom it wont play dvd +r or dvd -r is there any way to get it to read one or the both.

Did you burn the DVD+/-Rs yourself? Is it a data or video DVDR?

i burned them it is both the data and vidio

Did you close the discs? Ie didnt use multisession?

i think so .they wrok on a regular dvd player (vidio)

what brand of media did you use? Some types are better than others. Ive burned stuff on cheap DVDrs and not been able to read it afterwards, but using ritek discs they work fine everytime
