My dad is looking for a good external Hard Drive. He wants at least 150Gigs of space....wat would be a good one for him to get. You can reccomend a higher GB drive, but he is looking to spend 200 dollars or less. i DID search and could really come up with nothing except cnet reviews (which i don't trust )

THANKS

Desktop computers use the 3.5" inch scale and labtop form factor use 2.5".

There are "enclosers", a case for the hard drive to make it external. Some of them use USB 2.0 and some use firewire 1394, some enclosers have bother connections for transfer. Ask the local shop if that encloser comes with a power supply.

Keep in mind that heat builds up fast considering the size so hope if comes with a fan or mod it.

This is all I know about them so good luck.

BTW, Seagate, Fujitsu, Samsungs are good hard drives.
