i know this topic sucks and it might have been covered by a lot of ppl on the net... but i would still like to hear what you guys have to say about it... once again. trying to get a decent video card for my younger brother's pc

out of these three... which card will you pick?

1. powercolor 9800se 128mb 256bit **SOFTMOD POSSIBLE**
2. powercolor 9600xt 128mb 128bit ULTRA 2.5ns bga ram
3. sapphire 9600pro 256mb 128bit (cheaper)

Ya, the 256-bit mem bus is good. Just make sure it has 380, 680 Mhz clocks and not 325, 580 Mhz clocks.

on a regular basis i'd also go with the powercolor 9800se. at default speed the 256bit version runs as fast as a stock 9600xt and if the softmod fails, it'll still run as good as one too. but if i'd be wanting something fun to play with, i'd go for the 9600xt, seeing it has 2.5ns ram (i had a 9600pro and it was the best card i ever owned)

The #1 card would mop the floor with the other two.
