Any advantage to using the Serillel thingy?

Just wondering if there is any reason why I should hook my 120GB UATA HDD with the Serillel thingy to SATA instead of just using it on ont IDE port?

its not faster but from what i gathered when using sata it lowers cpu usage.. give it a shot and see what you think.. just make sure you install the drivers first..

There's the advantage of the smaller cables, that's why I'm going to use it.
