I am thinking of upgrading my PIII 667 @ 700 to a 1.4 DDR Tbird, my question is a 300 watt power supply enough? It is just a seti box so all it will have is an extra case fan, NIC, cheap video card, floppy, cd and a cak-38 or sk6 HSF.

If you don't overclock it - it should be o.k. I have a couple of machines that are mildly overclocked that have a Sparkle 300w PSU. If you do overclock - watch your 5v rail. If you start getting some low readings you may have to go up to at least a 350w - better a 400w.

Yep I agree get a bigger PSU, my P3 700@1053 is on a 300w PSU and I am having power issues...A 431w Enermax is fairly cheap you can find good deals once in awhile on Ebay
