question on x800 xt pci express?

I'am planing to get this but from pictures I've seen it looks like it takes 2 power cables to power is this right.Thanks

Hi, welcome to the forums.

Newer Video Cards are drawing a lot of power and some do need to take this from two Molex plugs. What sort of PSU do you have?

i brought one of these the other day with a new mobo and p4 and it works of one power connecter, it recomends a true 300w psu i have a cheap 550w psu and sometimes it cuts out. but had to send mine back as i think the mobo was fulty.
