My aim will be 2.6. Is this memory good enough for a FSB of 290x9? I was checking out anandtech's review of the Winchester and they were using exactly what's written above. Is there any better memory?

There is no "EL" listed in that test configuration, only OCZ Platinum rev 2.0 2x512 MB.

Only OCZ Platinum Rev 2 PC3200 IS EL....
So with suitable cooling there is no reason why you cannot achieve it either.

so is this the best memory for this situation or is their better? I want to run as close to 1:1 as possible.
