hi, I have a bunch of movies...and I was wondering what the best program is for clearing or sharpening or just in general....making the picture look a lot better...any ideas?

What's your source? DVD? I find Avisynth excellent as a frameserving tool. There's a lot of filters like denoisers, sharpeners, etc for Avisynth. You will have to re-encode your movies and if you want to keep good quality you'll need high bitrates when encoding them. As to which method and programs to employ, it would pretty much depend on your intended output.

and plus with some practice you can write your own filters. I encode anime sometimes, and i can never touch the look that the ripping groups get because of the filters they make.
