Unhappy Not able to run on advanced memory settings now

I did have my comp running really sweet with my memory set to turbo mode, and set on cas 2. Now when I play games it will just up and dump the game and bring me back to the desktop with the game not even there anymore. *POOF* it's just totally gone!!! It was running fine on those setting before, but refuses now. Any advice or theory as to why this happened? I have 2 PNY pc 133 128 sticks of memory. Like I said, it was running fine with these settings before, and now all of a sudden it wont. Did I wear out my memory on these settings?

I'd really doubt it since I run my 128 pc133 stick and 64 stick at the same setting. I'm beting it's software related. What OS and what did install prior to the problem. I noticed when u kill ram, u might not even boot in to windows.

Could be the game. Maybe Mr. Magic Reinstall will solve it, assuming nothing really has changed.

O.K. guys, thanks for the feedback. I figured out my problem, and it wasnt the memory at all. It was my comp getting too hot I cut a hole in the side of the case and installed a 4 in. fan to suck out the hot air and it dropped my temps. down a few degrees Now everything is running nice and smooth and have been running flawlessly since. Was just a coincidence that it happened after setting the ram to a faster setting. Could it be that the faster settings on the ram caused my comp to run hotter?
