Fps problem with CS:Source help me


First of all heres my pc spec , Amd Athlon Xp3000+ running at 2162Mhz , 1024 Ram PC-2700 - DDR333 , Radeon x800pro 256mb , Mobo Asus a7n8x-x

and there is nothing overclocked.. and i get like 30-40fps in 800X600 Whats the problem? ;(

Do you have your chipset drivers? An easy way to tell would be to look at your video properties and see what your AGP speed is set to.

Which version of drivers though??? How long ago did you install them???

its the original drivers from the cd i got into the box with my card cuz the new one when i try to install them , its crashing.

try unintalling the old ones and then installing the newest drivers from the ati site.

This might be a stupid question, but make sure that your max fps isn't 40.
