Mouse buttons dont work

I just bought the new laser mouse from logitec and only the right, left and wheel buttons work in programs like IE, how can I make it so that I can use the full functionality of my new mouse and not have to configure it individually for each program?

Did you use the CD that came with the mouse?

You may need the proper drivers:

it should be under the mouse settings in the control panel...

I used the cd that came with the mouse and under the control panel it shows up like it would if it were a standard 2 button mouse, even my old MS mouse at least changed the setup so that you could program the individual buttons but not with my new mouse. :/

the other buttons should be there...re-install the drivers or something...
