Run Two Internet Connections?

I'm living in a dorm right now and I have my own internet connection using an ethernet card. I started talking to a neighbor and I guess there are some people in the dorm that are running a wireless connection that is open to everyone (I would get reception from where I am). Wondering if there is a way to run my connection and their wireless connection together to get faster internet?

Best you can do is a load balancing linux machine which would be tricky. Or something which uses the second connection in the event that your primary because disconnected.

Either way you wont get a faster internet.
