cooling idea

basically, what i'm thinking is a hyper 6 with the heatsink part mounted in your intake and connected to the base with long heatpipes. if the heatsink was the same size as the chavette heatercore everyone uses for watercooling, do you think it would be as efficiant as a similar wc loop?

are heatpipes limited to a certain legnth?

For all the work you would put into it to make it work. Which would be marginal at best. You may as well just go watercooling.
