I've searched through the forums on the wealth of info there is about mobile barton, but i can't seem figure out if the barton mobile 2400 is a good choice for my target frequency. I don't plan on breaking any records, just compensating my lack of budget with this overclockable CPU :).
I'd like to ask those that own mobile 2400+ if they reached 2.4Ghz with their mobiles, did they have some problems and if so what were those.
I plan on buying this cpu along with the following:
Seasonic 350W PSU
Abit NF7-S v2
CPU + SLK947U + PanafloM1A/ENermax UC9FA-B
case with intake and exhaust fans
intake low in the front
exhaust at cpu level

thnx
p.s. my first post here.

Welcome to the forums!

The general consensus seems to be that XP-M2500+ and XP-M2600+ are the best mobile CPUs for overclocking. With an nforce2 motherboard, and PC3200 DDR RAM then 2.2GHz+ should be a given.
