I got a virus need help("Cannot open windows class")

If i try to open anything in media player i get the error cannot open window class. I googled the error code 8007057F and got something about a registry issue(i assumed virus/spywere) so i went and dled adaware and spybot. If i try to open the spybot EXE i get that same error as media player. I installed adaware but it dies whenever i open it. Varius other programs that used to work fine eather get that window class error or just dont work. Any help aprechiated.

Have you tried running your Anti-Virus, SpyBot or Ad-aware proggy's in Safe Mode? If not give it a try. They will run slower in Safe Mode so don't worry if it's taking a lot longer than usual.

Or use House call that way you can use a scanner on line.
