ok in the bios, should spread specrum be disabled?
on my axp rig its enabled but on my duron800 its disabled

what should it be ?

and what exaclty IS the spread spectrum?

It should be disabled when overclocking. I don't exactly know what it does, but I believe it's something like speed variation of the CPU. Can anyone explain exactly what the spread spectrum is?

Also, if you see auto detect dimm/pci clock disable if you are overclocking. Same basic thing as spread spectrum.
